The AEO Forum brings our community together from across Australia and beyond, attracting participants from industry, government, research, defence, not-for-profits, and educational institutions.

This year's event, AEO2026, turns the spotlight on the growth of Australian Earth Observation Securities; the data and information derived from our EO technologies that are quietly reshaping how we understand and respond to our environment.

Key Dates:

  • 17 April - Call for Papers open - closing 29 May

  • 1 May - Conference registration open

  • 29 May - Call for Papers closes

  • Mid-June - Notification to authors / draft program available

  • By end of June - Early Bird registrations close / deadline for presenting authors to register

  • 9-12 November - 2026 Advancing Earth Observation Forum
